Purpose:
The business development – senior consultant position will be part of the Global Wealth team working through proactive engagement with distribution partners to educate, support, and consult on Athene’s Altitude product in effort to generate new business.
Accountabilities:
  • Work with external wholesalers of Global Wealth team and business development colleagues Athene’s affiliate, Apollo, to identify potential distribution partners.
  • Articulate to advisors/distribution partners Altitude’s features and considerations.
  • Coordinate with Global Wealth client onboarding team to execute on sales opportunities.
  • Create sales ideas and marketing strategies for Altitude.
  • Effective relationship management through consistent communication.
  • Initiate outbound sales calls to advisors and prospective advisors to position, promote and sell Altitude and to communicate company updates.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • 5+ years' financial services industry.
  • Prior investment product sales experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to execute and deliver against account growth.
  • Proven success in building and fostering relationships.
  • Obtain state Insurance license within 3 months.
  • Obtain Series 6 within 6 months.
  • Must be able communicate effectively using verbal and written methods, while explaining products, tools, concepts and processes to a diverse customer base.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
